Mikala Morris is a Tempe, AZ native who played middle and right side hitter for Seton Catholic Preparatory High School. As a four-year varsity starter, she won three 4A Arizona state championships. Mikala went on to play five seasons at Colorado State University – Pueblo, where she finished as an Academic All-American. Mikala holds bachelor’s degrees in mass communications, political science and Spanish, with a master’s in mass communications from Arizona State University.

Mikala is a huge proponent of her athletes playing both indoor and beach volleyball. Since college, Mikala can be found playing in beach volleyball leagues and tournaments throughout the Valley. Along with coaching girls at Aspire, Mikala also serves as the JV Head Coach for Seton Catholic and works full-time in marketing for Banner Health.
