Nancy grew up in a sports-oriented family and developed a passion for volleyball around age 13. She continued her love for the sport throughout high school and club. Upon graduating her senior year, she went on to play as a setter/ defensive specialist in West Palm Beach, Florida. She finished her college volleyball career in Tampa, Florida, playing an indoor season as a libero/ setter and a beach season as a defender on the top 2 pairs.

Nancy prides herself in being meticulous about each skill from a young age to ensure athletes have the proper foundation to build on each season. For her, winning is playing every point as if it was your last and being able to let go, learn, and grow from every mistake. Nancy is most thankful for volleyball for allowing her to build the relationships she has today.

The rare occasions when she is not coaching or playing volleyball, you’ll find Nancy practicing her graphic design skills, shopping at a local thrift store, or channeling her inner “foodie”.
